Since coming to the University of Cincinnati in Fall 2012, I have taught undergraduate courses in American politics, law, and institutions. I have also been active in our graduate program, advising students, sitting on thesis and dissertation committees, and helping craft the curriculum. Prior to arriving at UC, I independently taught classes at American University while completing my doctoral program.
Beginning in 2015, I serve as the Director of the Legal Studies Certificate, which I developed in Partnership with UC College of Law.
In 2022, I was awarded the A.B. “Dolly” Cohen Award for Excellence in Teaching by the University of Cincinnati.
